Musick's Campground
South Holston Lake
Sullivan Co., TN

Part of the flock of 50-75 American Pipits found here by members of the Blue
Ridge Bird Club from Galax, VA
Sat. Nov. 10th, were still there Saturday the 17th (15). Several birders
stayed over for lunch and the start of the Michigan-Ohio State football game
with pizza at Little Italy and continued to enjoyed the company of
David Kirschke and his birding parents (Lenny & Patty) who were visiting from
Florida and took in our field trip.
They got to see the Eared Grebe at Musick's. We really got a kick out of the
mechanical decoy flapping
its wings at the edge of the water in the mouth of Spring Creek. Yes! It
fooled us all for a few minutes ;-)

Let's go birding......
