Area Birders,
Two Pine Siskins were feeding today on the thistle (nyger) seed sock here on
Compton Mt. Those were the first ones I had seen here since March 3. I thought
March 31 was a bit late for them, but upon checking our club data base I found
that they have been found here in Buchanan County as late as April 19. That
late date was in 1982 in the Breaks area at the home of David Raines.
Enjoy the birds,

Roger Mayhorn
