Osprey return
each April
to Big Cedar Creek
in Russell County,
Virginia near
Lebanon. Here
is a new arrival
photographed
there by
Richard Kretz,
Lebanon.

To the locals
who frequent
our open waters,
it has always
been known
as the
Fish Hawk.

The species
is extending
it's nesting range
along our
rivers and
lakes.
