There were not as many migrants visible over the weekend at home on Simerly Creek Road in Hampton, TN. I did get a good look at a Philadeplia Vireo on Sunday evening (Sept. 21). The other birds possibly just passing through included Gray Catbird, Ruby-throated Hummingbird and an Eastern Phoebe. This morning (Monday, Sept. 22, for the first offical day of fall, I did see a female Common Yellowthroat. I had a great deal of activity in the willow and other trees near the pond, but no time to ID any of the others since I was already running late for work. Maybe they will stick around until this evening and I can try again after work. Bryan Stevens Hampton, Carter Co., TN
