December 21, 2007 Greene County--various sites David Chaffin and I observed the following this morning near Greeneville: Gadwall (3 on Guinn Drive); Common Raven (at Vulcan Materials Company quarry, on Highway 70 1 mile north of Highway 11-E); Horned Lark (2+ on Baughard Hill Road); American Pipit (on Guinn Drive). I found the following later in the day: Gadwall (14 at Kinser Park); American Black Duck (on Birdwell Mill Road); Ring-necked Duck; Wild Turkey (50); Double-crested Cormorant (3 at Kinser Park); American Kestrel (10); Peregrine Falcon (at intersection of East Allen's Bridge Road and Highway 70); Great Horned Owl (at Tusculum College); Brown Creeper; American Pipit; Dark-eyed Junco (2).
