Hey, Ed and Michelle Talbott, Looks like a partial melanistic Snow Bunting ! Hun ? Don't you think ? Or maybe a dwarf Bald Eagle. Yea! A white-headed raptor. Why do you guys always find the good stuff ? Even Richard Kretz is coming up with the white thingies. That is a very neat bird. Do you walk around town with your camera hanging from you neck ? By the time I ran and got a camera, the bird would be gone. Always is. Merry Christmas to you and yours and all our birders...... Let's go birding on a CBC...... We made the trip over the mountain and the bird reappeared at the feeders after about 15 minutes. It is apparently a partial albino and seemed to be doing well. Here is a link to some pictures as well as a link to some video of the bird I posted on YouTube. http://www.pbase.com/aquilaet/wtsparrow Ed and Michelle Talbott Grundy, Buchanan County, Virginia ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo!
