Paddle Creek Pond has reached productive shorebird viewing level with

useful exposed shoreline for mudflats. The water level as been lowered

this week at the rate of 250,000 gallons per day. The pump station is

operating and we will expose several more inches of wet mudflats

in the coming days. Early Sunday afternoon, several birds were

feeding along the shore which was hosting 3 Spotted and 2 Solitary

sandpipers. The shorebird management is in eastern Sullivan Co., TN
