Don, Hmmm. So you declare the Walters Bridge nest for Jefferson county? I've claimed it for Cocke, based on more southerly location above the navigable channel. Anyway, the bridge is scheduled by TDOT for replacement soon. I'll bet the pair relocate in Cocke, which has more potential high-elevation, wide visibility nest sites. Birding should get more interesting on Douglas - major drawdown this past week, revealing more shallow habitat, and juveniles and early migrants on the move. If only the temperature would drop into the 80s, for more comfortable exploration.
