Last night in my fiddle lesson I worked on a tune, the Osprey, by Scottish
musician, Dougie McClain. Today I was delighted to see a real Osprey in
Lebanon, Virginia. The bird was soaring and hunting over Big Cedar Creek at
the town's eastern limit. The fact that there were several holding ponds
for farm raised trout at that location may have been an added attraction. I
watched the bird for 10 minutes until I had to return to the day job. Ed
