December 2, 2008
8:00am
Riverfront Restaurant, Kingsport, Sullivan Co., TN

I'm reluctant to report this but I saw 2 Orange-crowned Warbler in the brush directly behind the restaurant and again in the trees under the bridge. I got a couple of good unobstructed views. My reluctance comes from the fact that these would be lifers and that this would be a new late date for the species.

Observed features:
4-5" long
Bright yellow under tail coverts
Faint streaking
Slender sharply pointed medium gray bill
Dull yellow wash in the breast
