Greene County: mostly Midway, Mohawk, Warrensburg, Pate's Hill, and other sites in the western part of the county

In about three hours on the afternoon of the 18th, I observed the following:

Gadwall (2);
Northern Shoveler (7 on Gravel Woods Road);
Green-winged Teal (3);
Ring-necked Duck (2 on Gravel Woods Road);
Northern Harrier (2);
Red-tailed Hawk (5);
American Kestrel (4);
Wilson's Snipe (9);
Purple Martin (7);
Tree Swallow (84);
Chipping Sparrow;
Rusty Blackbird (15, including several singing males; it's a treat to find these winter residents in that brief window of time before migration when males are singing and both sexes are in fresh breeding plumage).
