Area Birders,
The first of the season in Buchanan Co. BLACK-THROATED GREEN WARBLER was heard
today behind Grundy High School by Todd Perkins, a young member of the Buchanan
Co. Bird Club. Saturday morning he heard a WHIP-POOR-WILL near Vansant VA. He
also saw a COMMON RAVEN, a species that is not rare in the county, but is also
not common.
Enjoy the birds,

Roger Mayhorn
Compton Mt
Buchanan County
