Wednesday, May 6th, Rick Phillips, Betty & Gary Bailey, and Bill Grigsby led a bird walk followed by a program on birds to a group of Emmerson Waldorf high school students from Chapel Hill, NC. We walked around the birding trail on the hill above the block house and observed from the back deck of the Cove Ridge Center. We had a total of 40 species for the morning. A good trip.
