Hi Birders:
Wallace Coffey and I spent a couple of hours late this afternoon (5:00-7:00
p.m.) at Musick's Campground to see what Hurricane, aka Tropical Storm Frances,
has brought in to South Holston Lake so far. Despite steady winds of 25-30
mph, occasional driving rain, and choppy water, we managed to pick up a few
species:

Common Tern: 32
Caspian Tern: 2
Great-blue Heron: 3( 1 immature)
Great Egret: 1
Eared Grebe: 1
Osprey: 1
Canada Goose: 4
