Area Birders,
The migration is picking up a bit here in Buchanan County. The last couple
of days I have had 39 species in my yard with 6 warbler species each day,
and Friday I saw Blue-headed, Red-eyed, White-eyed and Yellow-throated
Vireos. Thursday I saw my first Swainson's Thrush of the fall migration.
Warblers observed were Blackburnian, Blue-winged, Black-throated Green, Cape
May, Northern Parula, Tennessee, Worm-eating, Yellow-breasted Chat and
Yellow-throated Warbler.

Enjoy the birds,

Roger Mayhorn
