[Bristol-Birds] Merlin at Oak Hill Cemetery, Kingport

Rick Phillips telephone this afternoon to report a male Merlin he had just
found in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Kingsport, Sullivan Co.   The cemetery is
located just up hill behind the Kingsport Times-News newspaper office. He
said when you drive into the cemetery there will be a road going straight
and one going left and one right near the entrance.  Take the center road
and go back up into the area and look in the tops of the conifers.  That is
where he saw the bird.  He suggested it might be also located in some of the
lowere confirers also.  During the early and mid-1990's,  there were reports
for several winters of a Merlin frequenting the neighborhoods behind the
Times-News building.
