Observation start time: 08:00:00
Observation end   time: 16:00:00
Total observation time: 8 hours

Official Counter:        David Lugo/Ron Harrington

Observers:        Jonathan Lugo, Sam Evans

Visitors:
None

Weather:
Cloudy skies until 2:00. A rain shower came through around 10:30, but
didn't last long, and by 2:00 it was mostly cloudy to partly sunny. Wind
out of the South/southeast varying from a gentle breeze (8-12 mph) to a
moderate breeze(13-18 mph). Temperature upper 60s to low 70s F. Skies
became mostly clear by the time we left (4:00 EST). Visibility was 10 miles
or so but varied, especially on the NW side of the mountain.

Raptor Observations:
It was a slow day. The Broad-winged hawks came by around 9:30 on the E/SE
side of the mountain, riding the breeze, and seeming to struggle with the
flying conditions. Some local Red-tailed hawks were about, but we did have
a couple  that appeared to be migrating. Turkey vultures finally got up in
the 2:00 hour. The Northern Harrier came by at eye level and was easily
riding the moderate breeze. A local Cooper's hawk was hanging around, and
one was harassing one of the Broad-wings.

Non-raptor Observations:
Dark-eyed Juncos,Red-headed WP, Blue-headed Vireo, Yellow-throated Vireo,
and two American Red-starts.

Predictions:
Rain, heavy at times. Very poor flying conditions.
