I spent this morning (Mar 7) birding in lower Washington Co & Limestone.
@Kyker Pond I found 2 Shovelers (male & female); 1 Blue-wing Teal; 9 Mallards
and 5 Tree Swallows.
@ Westview Pond I found 5 Canada Geese; 3 Killdeers and 1 Harrier (flyover).
    Along Big Limestone Road in the flooded fields I found 9 Snipe; 7 Mallards
and 5 Canada Geese.
    Along Yankee Camp Road on a small pond on the west end I found 5 Hooded
Mergansers and 2 Blue-wing Teal.
    Along McCall Road I found a flock of approx 200 Grackles and 5 Cowbirds.

Maybe birds are beginning to move a little bit.
