The Loggerhead Shrike that was first reported on 3/7/17 at the Copeland Farm,
Pittman Center, Sevier County, TN is still in the same field. It is not always
easily observed, but if you hang out long enough, it should show. Since, 3/8,
it seems to prefer a lone medium sized tree near the west end of the pasture
next to a low profile hay wagon. Under the perch tree is a coil of barbed wire
easily seen with binoculars.
