Greetings,

I am not sure of the date of this particular Carolina Bird Club state
meeting, at least three or four years ago, but seemingly, a Kirtlands was
heard, seen and identified just off the Blue Ridge Parkway by the some of
the members. This was somewhere near the Boone, NC area, I believe. Much
to my chagrin and to the teasing of some of the birders from Georgia who did
attend, I was not at the meeting for I was in Georgia.

So if this is a flyway, a Kirtlands might be seen in this vicinity again?

Tess Cumbie
Mitchell County, NC
