Today I ran the Iron Mtn Breeding Bird Survey which begins on White Top Mtn and ends on Hurricane Mtn. A total of 56 species were recorded. Among the top species recorded were Yellow-bellied Sapsucker, Least Flycatcher, Cooper's Hawk, Yellow-rumped Warbler and Vesper Sparrow. Below are the totals for each species.
