[Bristol-Birds] Herndon (Elizabethton) Bird Club Meeting

The Lee and Lois Herndon Chapter of Tennessee Ornithological Society will
be holding its monthly meeting next Tuesday, September 06 at 7:00pm at the
science building on Milligan College campus.
Dr. Gary Wallace, of Milligan College, will be conducting a bird
identification workshop with an emphasis on fall migrants. Be sure to
bring your field guides, as we will be working on field marks and other
identification cues from preserved specimens. This will be a wonderful
program that will get everyone "good-and-ready" for all the fall migrants
that are beginning to move through the area.
Other topics to be discussed include plans for the following upcoming
events:
The Roan Mountain Fall Naturalist Rally (September 9-11, 2005)
The Elizabethton Fall Bird Count (9/24/05)
The TOS Fall State Meeting in Greenville (9/30-10/02)
