The Herndon Bird Club will have its annual picnic Saturday, July 12 at the Harris Pavilion at Rotary Park in Johnson City. We have use of the Pavilion from 4 to 9 p.m. and plan to eat about 6 p.m. The club will provide drinks, plates, cups, napkins and utensils. Please bring some food--hot dish, salad, or dessert--to share.
If possible, club members who wish to submit photos they have taken of birds of the area for the 2015 Club Calendar should bring them on a thumb drive or CD to pass along to Bryan Stevens for inclusion in the calendar. (There will be some additional time to submit photos to Bryan, but he will need your photos earlier this year than for calendar preparations in the past.)
