The next regular meeting of the Herndon Bird Club is this Tuesday, December 3,
at 7:00 p.m. at the Science Building at Milligan College in Elizabethton.
Come up the entry road into the College, turn right just past the Gregory
Center (on the right) into the parking lot. The Science Building is straight
ahead as you come into the parking lot. The meeting will be in a room on the
right just as you enter the Science Building.

The program presentation will be given by club treasurer Kim Stroud on the
birding she and Joe McGuiness did on a trip to California last May. They went
from San Francisco to Santa Cruz to Monterey to Yosemite and back to San
Francisco.

Included on the agenda for the December meeting are the planning of the two
Club Christmas counts: Elizabethton Count on Saturday, December 14 and Roan
Mountain Count on Sunday, December 15, and the planning of the Christmas Party.
Kim's presentation will precede the Christmas count and party planning. These
Christmas counts will be compiled at the Christmas Party.

The date of the January meeting will be decided and preliminary consideration
to January field trips will be given.

Prior to the meeting Tuesday, Dec. 3, some members will meet at Bellacino's
Italian Restaurant on South Roan St. (Food City Parking Lot) in Johnson City
around 5:30 p.m. to eat and socialize before the meeting. ALL are INVITED and
WELCOME to the meeting and to Bellacino's.

Additional information about the Christmas Counts and Christmas Party will be
sent shortly after the Tuesday meeting. If you have any questions about the
December meeting, please feel free to send me email or call.
