REGULAR CLUB JUNE MEETING--The regular June Club meeting will be on MONDAY,
June 4 beginning at 7:00 p.m., at Sycamore Shoals in Elizabethton. Come in the
right-hand door as you face the building. Two main agenda items for the
meeting are planning of the Club's summer Carter County bird count (to be held
Saturday, June 9) and planning of the Annual Club Picnic, Saturday, July 14, at
the Harris Pavilion of Rotary Park, Johnson City. The program will be a
description of birding a small part of England by club member Roy Knispel.
Prior to the June 4 meeting, some members will meet at Bellacino's Italian
Restaurant on South Roan St. (Food City Parking Lot) in Johnson City around
5:30 p.m. to eat and socialize before the meeting. ALL are invited and welcome
to the meeting and to Bellacino's.
SPRING CARTER COUNTY BIRD COUNT--Saturday, June 9. This count will be planned
at the club meeting June 4.
A report on the nightjar surveys from last night and prospects for the Fish
Creek nightjar survey planned for tonight will follow within an hour.
