[Bristol-Birds] Herndon Bird Club Field Trip to Roan Mountain Saturday, Sept 17

The Herndon Bird Club is holding a Warbler Warm-up field trip at Carvers Gap on
Roan Mountain on Saturday, September 17.
Meet at Carvers Gap at 7 a.m. to catch the early waves of warblers and other
migrants. There is no set time to end the trip--it will depend on birding
conditions and weather--but we will make our way down the mountain and find a
place to have lunch in the Roan Mountain village area. It is recommended that
you bring water, snacks and sun-block and a sweat shirt or jacket in order to
be prepared for any weather.
