Greene County, Greeneville, TN Nata Jackson There was a flurry of activity at my neighbor's house where there was corn and seed on the ground. 7 beautiful Cardinals at once in a tree, and more around. BlueJays, Finches, Chicks and Tits and the like. I enjoyed the Pine Siskins most then went home to find "what I thought" was a dead siskin my son found by the garage door - small window and has panes and junk on the other side so not a clear view window. Too small though and had a bright yellow head patch. I'm not a birder like most of you, so took a few photos and didn't take any thought until I saw Noblet's post of a Ruby- crowned Kinglet. I intended to ask Don Miller when I went to the Library but got sidetracked on two unidentified white blobs photo. Anyways, downloaded and now guessing a Yellow-crowned Kinglet, which is very rare here in my yard. Sad, as it is a beauty.
