Tom Looks like Monday was the pick of the litter. Thanks for all the reports and all the great work again this year. I really enjoyed most of the days I was up there with you this season, 'most' because I still think there is one or two dozen of those bugs still in my ears etc. Everyone, unless you were there it is impossible to imagine the ropes of black bugs we could see as far away as the NE point. They really looked like black shafts of light. I've been to North Bay Ontario and dealt with hoards of black flies and been in swarms of mosquitoes in the Aleutians. Though the Mendota Black Menace did not bite, in numbers alone they are the swarming champions!!! Hope to see you again next September.
