Hunter Observers: Gary Cooper, Ken Turner, Mike Sanders Visitors: April Addington brought her students from Twin Springs High School to the hawkwatch. They were a great group of kids. The first 2 hours were heavy overcast and drizzle but once the fog began to lift they were a delight to watch trying to spot anything flying. They did get a good look at an adult Bald Eagle that was flying low in the valley. Weather: Rain, fog, overcast until late afternoon. WInd SSE most of the day. Raptor Observations: Very few Broadwings, lousy flying weather, 3 Bald Eagles, 1 adult and then 2 juveniles together. Non-raptor Observations: Lots of turkey vultures and black vultures in the air during the afternoon. Several groups of Wild Turkeys spotted by the students from Twin Springs High School. ======================================================================== Report submitted by Thomas O.
