Clearing during the middle of the day. Heavy cloudcover late afternoon then finally clearing again. Winds were negligible. Raptor Observations: First raptor wasn't until after 12. No Broadwings after 3:45. Only bird after 4 was our first Golden Eagle of the year. Non-raptor Observations: Only 2 Red-headed Woodpeckers seen today. We had a feeding flock of warblers after 6 including 2 male Blackburnian, male Chestnut-sided, Tennessee, Black-throated Green, and 2 female Bay-breasted Warblers. Predictions: Tomoorow we have a class from Twin Springs High School with their teacher April Addington visiting the tower and helping to count hawks. ======================================================================== Report submitted by Thomas O.
