Good Evening, Sharing my Hawks - id'd by Don Miller as a) Sharp-shinned and b) Red-shouldered. a) Sharp-shinned 10:10am just as light snowflakes were falling outside my kitchen window (photo through glass). At first, thought I had a white-winged dove, but happy for first siting of this Hawk. b) Red-shouldered 12:20 on Hwy 70 by the Fitness Center; amidst low-30's temp and windy. It was not a clear sky, then with a little God-help, the RSH flew right over my head to the line where I had parked, for a few clear photos (152 to be exact, for about a dozen good ones). I continue to see at least one Kestrel a day since Dec 1st - today five. Nata Jackson Greene County
