The small colony of GBH that can be found along Butcher's Fork near the
confluence with the South Fork of Powell River East of Big Stone Gap has 10
nests with at least 8 having birds standing on them or perching near them.

To be redundant the nests are located on a ridge that parallels US 23 between
the Big Stone Gap exits near the Valero exit (exit 34.)

These nests have been located in this general area of the ridge since 1999.

The maximum number of nests I've seen was 23.  The least was 7.
