Had the opportunity to shuttle a few birders up to Whitetop gap this am for
s day of biking and birding. Took my bins with me and after dropping them
off, went to look for the Rose-breasted Grosbeaks reported to me yesterday
by John Sauers, a Whitetop resident and birder.

Didn't spot the Rose-breasted but did get a Wood Thrush, Evening Grosbeaks
in large #'s at a feeder, as well as a nice long look at a low flying
Sharp-shinned Hawk.

Not bad for a few minutes at "work".
