Hi Nata, If u haven't read the book "Red Tails in Love" by Marie Winn copyright 1988 and 1989 I think u would really enjoy it. Talks all about birding grp in Central Park and mentions Starr Saphir several times. The book concentrates on the red tail couple, but discusses the central pk birders too. Hope u r healing fast! Beautiful colorful birds, and a magnificient story. I wanted to meet her and take her tour, so tonight looked up her name in a Google search. Sadly for me, she has died. I hope another will take her place. RIP. http://www.nytimes.com/2013/02/10/nyregion/starr-saphir-bird-watching-guide-in-central-park-dies-at-73.html?_r=0 ************************************************* BRISTOL BIRDS NET LIST MENDOTA HAWK MIGRATION DAILY AND SEASON TOTALS CAN BE FOLLOWED DAILY ON THE HAWK MIGRATION ASSOC.
