Bristol Bird Club Members and friends:

It is just five (5) days until our annual Bristol Bird Club Christmas party.  I 
hope you are planning what you are bringing and are anticipating a good time to 
be had by all.  The festivities will begin at 6:30 P.M., Saturday, December 7, 
2013, at the home of Kevin and Kami Blaylock in Bristol, VA.  

If you wish to participate in the fun gift exchange (variously called a Chinese 
gift exchange, a Yankee gift exchange, or Gift Grab), please bring a gift from 
each person in your party.  Each gift should cost between $5 and $10.  The 
gifts should not be gender specific.  Do NOT put a name on the gifts but DO 
either wrap them or put them in gift bags.

Please bring one dish for each person in your party.  We enjoy good food, good 
fellowship, and a fun time.  Come join us and feel free to bring guests who may 
be interested in joining us.  

For your GPS the address for the Blaylocks is 24199 Redstone Drive, Bristol, VA 
24202.  Phone 423-943-5841 if you get lost.

If you are not using a GPS or if you just like to have a backup, here are 
directions.  From King College Road, near Holston View Elementary School, turn 
into Redstone Subdivision on Brookwood Drive.  Take the first right onto 
Redstone Drive.  Go 0.7 mile on Redstone Dr, you will pass Middlebrook Lake on 
your right.  The Blaylock’s driveway is on the right almost at the dead-end of 
Redstone Dr.  Drive up the hill through the double gates.  

Quick tip:  Look for a large yellow “For Sale” sign along the right of the road 
for some acreage and their driveway is directly after the yellow sign.

If it is convenient for you to carpool, that would be helpful.

Plan to stay around to help with the cleanup.  Kevin and Kami have a 
professional ice maker so we do not need to bring extra ice.  Also they will 
make sweet tea and John and Polly are going to bring unsweet tea.  Some may 
want to bring a 2L soft drink.  Paper products, trash bags, and plastic 
utensils are provided by the club.  Please put your name on any serving 
utensils which you bring to assure that you get them back.
