I left a typo in the email about seeing the eagle nest.
If coming from Johnson City direction turn RIGHT on
to Egypt Rd. from US 11E. If coming from Bristol turn
LEFT on Egypt Rd from US 11 E.

Eagle's nest.

If you are sitting on your stoop sucking your thumb or
drinking beer, put away your vices and Carolyn and I
will meet anyone interested in seeing the Bald Eagle's
nest in Sullivan County. This Sunday afternoon we
can hang out for an hour or less. It will be mostly
sunny and 81 degrees so come in your short shorts
or muscle shirts and enjoy a nice evening.

If a crowd of one or more people show up it will be a
tremendous success. Call anyone you think would be
interested but might not see this last-minute email.

We will meet today (Sunday, Apr 29) at 4:30 p.m. at the
ball field parking lot at the bridge over Boone Lake in
almost downtown Bluff City. This IS NOT the US 11E
"Charlie Worley" bridge over the lake near the flea market.
This is the next bride upstream. The one with a park and
a red caboose almost parked in the intersection. If you are coming on
US 11E either north or south, you can turn on to Egypt Road
3/10 mile towards Bristol from the convenience store and Subway
on 11E. Turn left if heading towards Bristol or turn right if
headed towards Bristol. Drive over the hill to come out at the
bridge. If coming on US 19 from Elizabethton, turn right on to
TN Rt. 44 or Old Bluff City Hwy. at the caution light on 19 just
before you reach US 11E. Come straight thru to the lake and the
  bridge ballpark parking area.

If you are running late when you get this message, call me at
cell 423-360-2532 and we can send a tow truck.

Once we leave the parking area we will be at the Bald Eagle's
nest in five minutes or less. This is no death march thru a
swamp. Roadside birding. If you can't find your short shorts,
then wear grandma's bonnet or a shawl.

  Let's go birding . . . .
