Had one sitting above our gold finch feeders Sunday. Was an adult. Could not 
get a good picture, have not seen him since but hope he is not expecting me to 
furnish his food for him...

Well I just went out to fill the feeders and saw it perched in my sycamore, and 
on the ground beneath the feeders was a pile of black and yellow feathers. I 
guess it didn't give up, as it appears a goldfinch was lunch, sorry tweetie.
