Chris O'Bryan, is walking on cloudy nine after seeing his master's research
study published in Forest Ecology and Management which is a major world
platform for scientific articles linking forest ecology with forest
management.
While many such studies are divided into shorter articles or chapters and
published in various journals, Chris' complete study was published in a
single issue.
It appears in Forest Ecology and Management, Volume 361, 1 February 2016,
Pages 346-357. Jessica A. Homyack, Christopher J. O'Bryan, Jamie E.
Thornton, Robert F. Baldwin are the authors of record.
Jessica Homyack is a lead researchers for Weyerhaeuser.
The scope of the journal includes all forest ecosystems of the world.
Chris has been in Northeast Tennessee for a few days, as he makes final
preparation to leave the first week of April to enter a graduate program
for a Ph.D. at the famous University of Queensland, Australia.
Chris grew up in Shady Valley, TN where he developed
an intense interest in the mountain fauna and flora at
the age of 13. His family later moved to Piney Flats, TN.
