Bristol Area Birders,
Yesterday evening my wife, Lynda, and I checked out the Chimney Swifts at
the Grundy High School building. A couple of days ago they numbered around
4000. Yesterday we counted around 2100, counting by fives as they dropped
into the chimney.
I also counted 12 Common Nighthawks passing by overhead.

This morning with a temp of 59F and clear blue sky my backyard produced the
following migrants, even though I was only able to observe for a few
minutes:

Northern Parula 1
Tennessee Warblers 3
Yellow-throated Warblers 3
Black-throated Green Warblers 4
Yellow-throated Vireo 1
Scarlet Tanagers 2
Eastern Kingbird 1
