On Saturday, 5/1/04, at Winged Deer Park in Johnson City, Rick Knight and I saw a singing male Cerulean Warbler. Other notable birds in the park were Yellow-billed Cuckoo Eastern Wood Peewee singing, heard only Swainson's Thrush singing Yellow-throated Vireo singing, heard only Chestnut-sided Warbler singing, heard only Kentucky Warblers singing, heard only Hooded Warbler singing, heard only Yellow-brested Chat singing, heard only Summer Tanager singing Rose-breasted Grosbeak singing Blue Grosbeak singing At Austin Springs we ran into Mark and Joy Crass.
