2 Cackling Geese found yesterday by Larry McDaniel at Boone's Creek,
near Johnson City, were refound this morning. They were in the field of
corn stubble on Picken's Bridge Rd. with a flock of Canada Geese.
Although they flew off while I was there, this flock probably feeds
there frequently (still lots of corn on ground).

In the flock, one Canada had a green neck-collar with 4KV1 and another
had a red leg band.

Of interest, there have been 2 reports of Cackling Geese near Asheville,
in western NC, recently. The 1 at Lake Junaluska was still there today.
