01 March 2009
Washington County, TN

Rob Biller and I encountered a mixed flock (3000+) of blackbirds and American
Robins in the fields along Kyker Road in western Washington County, TN today.

Present in the mix were:

Brewer’s Blackbird (we positively identified eight individuals, but odds are
that there were many more.)
Rusty Blackbird (500+)
Red-winged Blackbird
Common Grackle
Brown-headed Cowbird
