April 2, 2005 Observed this afternoon in western Greene County by Don Miller and Linda Northrop (birding time and method: 1.5 hours by car)-- Great Blue Heron; Canada Goose (46); Wood Duck (4); Blue-winged Teal (2); Wild Turkey (6); Greater Yellowlegs (3 on Highway 348 near Croff Kirk Road); Wilson's Snipe (3 on Jim Kirk Road); Purple Martin; Tree Swallow (35); Northern Rough-winged Swallow (10); Barn Swallow (20); American Pipit (8 on Jim Kirk Road); Chipping Sparrow; Brewer's Blackbird (2 on Highway 340 0.1 mile west of Turner Lane).
