[Bristol-Birds] Birds at Rural Retreat Lake and The Saltville Well Fields....

Still blustery today but somewhat warmer.  At Rural Retreat Lake it was 33F
with winds of about 10-15 mph.  It was 7F for a high yesterday with -9F
yesterday morning.  It had been MUCH colder over the past 72 hours but the
higher wind kept some of the central part of the lake from freezing.  About
35% iced over.  The lake was white capping with winds gusting near 40 mph
according to my Kestrel anemometer.  Today with less wind although warmer
temp's there was a very thin veneer of ice over 100% of the 90 acres of
water.  The two Ruddy's were sitting on top of the ice waiting for a hole
to open up to dive through....
