Rural Retreat Lake

US · Virginia
Lon. -81.294279, Lat. 36.865751, Alt. 2,513 ft

Member: Allen Boynton
Hotspot: Rural Retreat Lake

Notes:
The lake is still frozen, and there was not a Mallard or Canada Goose to be found.  I found no unusual birds, but enjoyed the warm sunshine and beating the bushes.  As you can see from the photo, the snow drifts are still deep in places.  However major progress was made in thawing the lake today.
