Bristol Area Birders, Bob Riggs and Ed and Michelle Talbott birded the highest (and coldest) peak in Virginia today during the Mt. Rogers Christmas Bird Count. We only found three species in several hours of high altitude birding but the winter scenery was spectacular. We spotted American Crows, Common Ravens, and one lonely Black-capped Chickadee. For those interested I've added some pictures to my web site at the link below. http://www.grundynet.net/talbott/Birding/RogersCBC.htm Good Birding, Ed Talbott Buchanan County Bird Club http://www.bcplnet.org/birdclub/birdclub.htm ************************************************* BRISTOL BIRDS NET LIST This is a regional birding list sponsored by the Bristol Bird Club to facilitate communications between birders and bird clubs of Southwest Virginia and Northeast Tennessee.
