On October 14 an apparent BLACK-THROATED GRAY WARBLER* was seen and
photographed in a residential yard in Inwood, Berkeley Co, WV. It is
anticipated that the West Virginia Bird Records Committee will review this
sighting, a first for West Virginia, next February or March, and that the
sighting will remain unconfirmed in eBird pending this decision.

Possible Black-throated gray warbler in Inwood

Photo at Flicker: https://www.flickr.com/photos/sawdusttoo/shares/41d095

This morning my wife and I saw a possible Black-throated gray warbler
(female/juv) in our backyard. My wife got 1 picture of the bird (and several
of where the bird had been). It is not a very good photo, very pixilated due
to the zoom. The bold gray cheek, and the yellow dot in front of the eye are
visible in the photo. The yellow dots were very visible when the bird was
looking towards us. The view we had was very brief and we have not seen it
since the original sighting.

Any comments or criticism welcome. I know this is an unusual bird for this
state and is new to me. I tried to attach the photo but the posting was
rejected for being too long thus the Flicker link.
