BBC Christmas Party is just
around the corner - Saturday!

When the Bristol Bird Club
holds its annual Christmas
Party Saturday night,
you will have an amazing
opportunity to enjoy a little
extra touch of adventure.

Our host is going to put out
a few extra special Cajun
country recipes just to
spice the night up good.

Michele Sparks, who lived
for many years in the old
New Orleans (pronounced
as Nu Or-Lay-Ans because
that's what it was traditionally
called in the French and
Louisiana Creole language),
will open her snuggly and
warm home to all of the area birders for one big Christmas party.

BBC style and party down. Cajun Larry "Mad Dog" McDaniel,
the original party down guy, says it will be the party of all parties.
McDaniel, long known as the BBC original party animal, has
visions of a Cajun Christmas dancing through his head. Of course !

Mad Dog has thrown some of the
most mind-blowing parties in
BBC history. He loves wild parties
that last all night. He loves
parties where he can go wild.

He is planning on going Cajun Wild
at Michele's house Saturday night.

Come with your party smile.

Come with your Cajun spirit.

Come have an absolute blast with
Mad Dog as he ushers in the 2008
Christmas season for the Tri-Cities
and all the good birders of Southwest Virginia and Northeast
Tennessee.

Start thinking about who you will invite. Ask your mother-in-law.
Ask that hunk who delivers your mail. Ask that guy you have
always wanted a date with but have never known his name.
Ask the children who go to your church. Ask the preacher's
hot wife. Ask that cute cashier at the grocery store. Ask your
kid's teacher ;-) or the school's principal. Ask the anchor woman
on the TV news channel you watch. Ask a naturalist at Steele
Creek Park :-( No. Don't do that. Just kiddin. That's desperate.

Bring a couple of dishes and a fun gift for our Chinese fire drill
gift give away. Bring your wife. Bring your husband. Just
be politically correct and bring your spouse or significant other.

Nothing is better than the wild and tasty covered dishes brought
to our Christmas party by all the great cooks of the BBC and
area birders. This is the perfect time to begin that diet you planned
on for 2008. You can begin at midnight Saturday. A perfect time.

The party is Saturday night starting at 6 p.m. at the home of
Michele Sparks near Bristol Motor Speedway in Bristol Tennessee.

Full directions, photo maps and more details will be sent Thursday
evening on Bristol Birds Net.

Remember: the BBC Christmas Party is open free to all the birders
of the region. It is a great, fun and sharing time for us all.

Even Dave Worley will be there !

Merry Christmas Birders. The BBC loves ya. Mad Dog does too.
