[Bristol-Birds] BBC membership / participation growing !

Membership in the Bristol Bird Club, for the 2011
membership year, is up 16 percent. This is a
strong, positive churn when comparing members lost
to members gained. Three persons have indicated
an interest in joining the club but have not yet made
a commitment to do so. Of the members, 26 are
regular participants at club meetings, field trips
and such. Just 6 persons did not participate
in any activities -- an excellent year for 2010 !
A number of members, not counted in the above
activity frequency, attend very irregularly. In
1992, there were 15 regular participants (11
less than in 2010). Ten of the 1992 regular
participants are no longer members.
