Dear Fellow Birders,
The Bristol Bird Club's fall field trip to Burke's Garden, VA is scheduled for
this Saturday (11/19/2016).
We will meet at the Hardee's in Tazewell, VA. Plan to leave from there at 8:30
to head into Burke's Garden. If you want to buy breakfeast at Hardee's, arrive
early enough to finish eating by then.
We will search for waterfowl, sparrows, finches, and others. Typically, we
find Red-headed Woopeckers on this trip.
A pair of Bald Eagles have a nest not far from the Burke's Garden store. We
may see one or both of them. And, perhaps, an early arriving Golden Eagle.
We're likely to observe Fox Squirrels, too.
